Cara memilih processor. Merk apa yang anda sukai intel atau AMD, tergantung selera dan kebutuhan anda. Jika anda menggunakan komputer dalam jangka waktu yang lama pilih intel. Tetapi, jika anda seorang gamer dan hanya sebentar duduk di depan komputer gunakan AMD (Walaupun AMD dikenal procsi yang cepat panas, tetapi ada jalan keluar untuk mengatasinya, yaitu menggunakan pendingin yang bagus). Motherboard (Mobo)
Apa saja yang harus diperhatikan dalam memilih motherboard? Merk merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam motherboard, jangan gunakan uang anda untuk memilih motherboard yang murahan dan susah untuk di upgrade. Mobo di atas adalah mobo yang mudah untuk di upgrade dengan komponen yang lebih tinggi. Kecepatan transfer data adalah hal yang perlu di perhatikan. Untuk saat ini vendor-vendor harddisk sudah meluncurkan product dengan kecepatan transfer data 6 Gb/s SATA III. Memory (RAM)
Apakah anda menggunakan memory tanpa pilih-pilih merk? Apakah anda orang yang berfikir, yang penting besar 2Gb, 4Gb, dll., harganya murah? Anda salah besar, Memory (RAM) merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam Komputer. Fungsi RAM adalah untuk menyimpan data dalam bit menggunakan bistable flip-flop. Setelah data ditulis dalam RAM, data disimpan  dan tidak harus refresh kemudian dishering ke RAM yang lain. Kecepatan dan besar sharing dan transfer data yang sanggup dilakukan RAM. Itulah yang perlu diperhatikan.

Hardrive (Hard Disk/HDD)
Apa itu HDD? Hardware untuk menyimpan data komputer. Apakah yang perlu di perhatikan dalam memilih HDD? Kesetabilan dan ketahanan dalam penyimpanan data juga kecepatan transfer data dari HDD ke Mobo. Untuk kesetabilan dan ketahanan sebenarnya HDD masih jauh tertinggal oleh SSD. Tetapi, untuk saat ini jangan dulu mengejar SSD karena harganya masih sangat mahal. Jika anda orang yang cukup berada dan memiliki dana lebih belilah SSD untuk Drive System (Primari Hard Disk/C). Berapa kecepatan putaran, Berapa kecepatan transfer, tipe kabel apa yang digunakan, itulah spesifikasi HDD dan jangan lupa merknya juga.

Video Card (VGA)
VGA berfungsi untuk memproses data visual dari CPU ke monitor. Kenapa perlu VGA pakai prosessor kan sudah jalan? Karena kemampuan Processor adalah untuk memproses keseluruhan data seperti mengontrol Hardware, memproses data, suara, dll., sehingga untuk data visual hanya sedikit yang dapat dibagi dari Processor, maka dari itu kita membutuhkan tambahan VGA untuk mengurangi beban Processor  kita. Terlebih lagi VGA yang diproduksi mempunyai kemampuan mengolah data visual dengan sangat bagus karena VGA hanya berkonsentasi terhadap 1 tugasnya tersebut. Apakah yang perlu dilihat dalam memilih VGA? Capasitas, Bit, Socket, Core, Cuda, dll), terlebih lagi anda memasang dua VGA dalam satu Komputer (AMD Crossfire & Nvidia SLI), itu akan lebih mantap. Power Suplay (PSU)
Jangan pernah meremehkan PSU. Hardware ini memiliki fungsi yang sangat besar, yaitu memasok listrik dan mengontrolnya secara merata sesuai kebutuhan hardware di CPU. PSU bagus memiliki efisiensi pembagian energi antara 80 - 99%. Artinya pembagian listrik ke hardware mempunyai kesesuaian yang sangat tinggi sehingga hardware tidak kekurangan atau kelebihan pasokan listrik, dan juga listrik anda tidak banyak yang terbuang sia-sia.
